Terms of service

The service
Luneday is run by Willie Tech Ltd, company number 15837598, 18 Gold Tops, Casnewydd (Newport), United Kingdom, NP20 5WJ. Luneday gives an organisation a public page where people book time with it: events, availability, bookings, reminders, payments through the organisation's own payment account, and tools around them. Luneday is in private beta. We provide it as it is, we do not promise uptime, and we may change or withdraw features with notice by email to the organisation's owner.
Accounts and organisations
You must be 18 or over to hold an account. Luneday is for organisations: a business, a sole trader, a club or another group. Each organisation has one owner, who is responsible for it, its members, its page and what it charges. Keep your sign-in method (passkeys and your two-factor secret) to yourself, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. On the Teams plan the owner can hand the organisation to another member. If you use Luneday to run bookings, the Data Processing Agreement forms part of these terms.
For people who book
If you book through an organisation's Luneday page, your booking is with that organisation, under its own terms and policies, which its page links to. Luneday provides the page and holds the booking on the organisation's behalf. Questions about a booking, a payment or a refund go to the organisation first.
Acceptable use
Do not use Luneday to send unsolicited messages, to collect data you have no right to, to host content that is unlawful or that infringes someone's rights, or to attack the service or other people's accounts. Rate limits and a bot check on booking forms may refuse a request. We may suspend an organisation that breaks these rules.
Plans and billing
- Three plans: Free, Solo and Teams. Prices are on our pricing page and change only with notice.
- Free is limited to three events and one member, and has no custom domain, calendar sync, AI briefs, webhooks or Insights export. Teams has five seats, including you.
- Subscriptions are sold by Paddle as merchant of record. Paddle issues the invoice, handles VAT and takes the card details, under Paddle's own buyer terms. Card details never reach Luneday.
- A change to a dearer plan applies at once, with a prorated charge. A change to a cheaper plan applies at your next renewal, and you keep what you paid for until then.
- You can cancel at any time. A cancelled subscription runs to the end of the period you paid for, then the organisation moves to Free. A change to a smaller plan is refused while the organisation exceeds that plan's limits, with a note saying what to reduce.
- On Free after a cancellation or a failed payment, events over the limit pause, a custom domain stops serving, and the Members page stays open so the owner can reduce.
- Payments for bookings go through the organisation's own Mollie account. Luneday never holds that money, and refunds of a booking are the organisation's decision. Refunds of a Luneday subscription follow our refund policy, which Paddle carries out.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Luneday's liability to an organisation for anything arising from the service is limited to the fees that organisation paid Luneday in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect loss. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. If you deal with us as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Luneday connects to services we do not run: the organisation's payment account, Paddle, calendar and video providers, email delivery and the host of any custom domain. We are not responsible for their availability, their changes or their charges, and a connection can stop working when a provider changes or withdraws it.
We back up the database every night, but a backup is for our recovery, not a copy for you. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose: the clients list can be exported from the dashboard, and Insights on the paid plans. We are not liable for loss of data beyond restoring our most recent backup.
An organisation is responsible for its page, its content, its bookings and its charges, and it covers us against any claim, fine or cost that arises from them or from its breach of these terms.
Neither of us is liable for a failure caused by something outside our reasonable control: a failure of our hosting provider, the network, a power supply or a payment network, a change in the law, industrial action, or a similar event.
Termination
You can end at any time: disband an organisation from its settings, and delete your account from Account settings once you own no organisation. Disbanding deletes the organisation's data and cancels its subscription at once. We may end an organisation's access for a breach of acceptable use, with notice and time to export the clients list, unless the breach is abuse of the service or other people.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep the protection of your local law.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We email organisation owners at least fourteen days before a change applies, and the date at the top of this page moves. Questions go to hello@luneday.com.
